Godzilla: Final Wars (2004)*
He's big, green and angry. Also, he's Godzilla. Directed by Ryuhei Kitamura.
I've already talked about this film in an earlier post, but a few more thoughts.
Still fun, still dumb, still crazy. The American captain is still a bad-ass Joseph Stalin. The movie is almost like a greatest hits film, with the best of the monsters coming back. The music is a stirring call to arms (or not), and the film editing can still cause vertigo and seizures.
